प्रदेश के परिषदीय विद्यालयों में वार्षिकोत्सव को रचनात्मक गतिविधियों से भी जोड़ा जाएगा। इसके लिए बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग की ओर से वार्षिकोत्सव पर शिक्षकों, बच्चों व
अभिभावकों को शामिल करते हुए आउट ऑफ स्कूल बच्चों या निरंतर अनुपस्थित रहने के दुष्प्रभाव के बारे में बताया जाएगा। इसके लिए नाटक आदि का मंचन किया जाएगा।
विभाग की ओर से 31 जनवरी तक विद्यालयों में वार्षिकोत्सव के आयोजन के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। इसमें बच्चों में शिक्षा के महत्व, बच्चों की उपस्थिति, घर में पढ़ाई जारी रखने आदि पर भाषण
प्रतियोगिताएं होंगी। वहीं उनमें रचनात्मक कौशल के लिए लेखन, ड्राइंग, पेंटिंग, रंगोली व पोस्टर प्रतियोगिताएं भी होंगी। लर्निंग बाई डूइंग के तहत निर्मित वस्तुओं के स्टॉल का प्रदर्शन किया जाएगा।
सर्वाधिक उपस्थिति वाले पहले, दूसरे व तीसरे स्थान के बच्चे को सम्मानित किया जाएगा। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने वाले
पुरस्कृत किए जाएंगे। विद्यालय में सेल्फी प्वाइंट भी बनाया जाएगा। इसके उद्घाटन पर पौधरोपण किया जाएगा। वार्षिकोत्सव के आयोजन को लेकर व्यापक स्तर पर प्रचार किया जाएगा। सभी अभिभावकों के साथ ही एसएमसी सदस्यों, पूर्व पंचायत सदस्यों, प्रधान आदि जनप्रतिनिधियों को भी बुलाया जाएगा।
महानिदेशक स्कूल शिक्षा मोनिका रानी ने इसके लिए 15 करोड़ का बजट जारी करते हुए सभी बीएसए को इसके व्यवस्थित तरीके से आयोजन के निर्देश दिए हैं। उन्होंने कहा है कि वार्षिकोत्सव का आयोजन सुबह 10 से दोपहर दो के बीच किया जाएगा। इसके आयोजन से पहले बीएसए, बीईओ के साथ और बीईओ प्रधानाध्यापक के साथ इसके लिए बैठकें करके आवश्यक तैयारी करेंगे।
खेल उत्सव का आयोजन भी होगा महानिदेशक ने बताया है कि जनवरी में ही विद्यालयों में वार्षिकोत्सव के अलावा खेल उत्सव का भी आयोजन कराया जाएगा। इसमें कक्षा तीन से पांच के बच्चों के लिए 50 व 100 मीटर की दौड़, कक्षा पांच से आठ के बच्चों के लिए 100 व 200 मीटर की दौड़, सभी बच्चों के लिए रिले रेस का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इन प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत भी किया जाएगा। इसके लिए भी अलग से बजट स्वीकृत किया गया है।

Annual functions in government-run (parishadiya) schools across the state will now be linked with creative activities. For this purpose, the Basic Education Department has decided that teachers, students, and parents will be involved in the annual celebrations, during which awareness will be created about the ill effects of children being out of school or remaining continuously absent. To convey this message, activities such as stage plays and dramas will be organized.
The department has directed that annual functions be organized in schools by 31 January. These events will include speech competitions focusing on the importance of education, regular attendance of children, and continuing studies at home. To promote creativity among students, competitions such as writing, drawing, painting, rangoli, and poster-making will also be held. Under the concept of “learning by doing,” stalls displaying items made by students will be set up.
Students securing first, second, and third positions for the highest attendance will be honoured. Those performing well in cultural programmes will also be awarded. A selfie point will be created in each school, and plantation will be carried out at the time of its inauguration. The annual functions will be widely publicised, and along with parents, members of the School Management Committee (SMC), former panchayat members, village heads, and other public representatives will be invited.
The Director General of School Education, Monika Rani, has released a budget of ₹15 crore for this purpose and instructed all Basic Shiksha Adhikaris (BSAs) to ensure the systematic organisation of these events. She stated that the annual functions will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Prior to the events, BSAs will hold meetings with Block Education Officers (BEOs), and BEOs will conduct meetings with headmasters to make the necessary preparations.
Sports Festival Also to Be Organised
The Director General also informed that, in addition to annual functions, a sports festival will be organised in schools in January itself. This will include:
50 m and 100 m races for students of Classes 3 to 5,
100 m and 200 m races for students of Classes 5 to 8, and
Relay races for all students.
Winners of these competitions will be awarded prizes. A separate budget has also been approved for organising the sports festival.
